Wireless Site Survey Services - For Design

Wireless-Nets offers wireless site surveys to organizations for designing wireless networks. These services include the following:

Access Point Placement Determination / Testing

• Identification of optimum installation locations for access points based on user and technical requirements - We use AirMagnet Survey Pro with an applicable test access point to verify installation location recommendations.

RF Interference Analysis

• Identification and testing of RF interference sources, such as microwave ovens, that may impact the operation and configuration of the wireless network.

Switch Port Assessment

• Inspection of existing switches to determine adequacy of supporting the recommended wireless network.

Survey Report

• Our survey reports for design purposes include a summary of user / technical requirements, identification / description of recommended access point installation locations (with heat maps of each access point location tested), and identification / explanation of potential sources of RF interference (with screenshots of applicable spectrum activity).
